5 hr knife

I made this knife in ~5hr. I did everything myself, including the heat treat. I made it prior to a fishing trip, because I needed a fillet knife! The blade is band saw steel that I salvaged from a dump in the desert. The handle is elk antler that I found and hauled out while on a search and rescue mission. I heat treated it in my (1) 2 brick forge. 2 firebricks cemented and wired together. and tempered in a toaster oven. The blade is very flexible but it warped a bit in the quench.
It works great and holds an edge quite well!
